Tea tree oil may cause hair loss if you are allergic to it. We recommend a patch test on the inner arm or behind the ear, 24 hrs before applying tea tree oil to your hair. If you experience any redness, inflammation or a rash then you should avoid using tea tree oil on the scalp. And also don’t be rash about seeing results.
